Review of Andy Beard.euIntermediate and advanced marketers. Recommended The first thing that strikes you about Andy’s blog, is that it has a nice simple background which makes it quick to load and easy to read. Andy’s main focus is on monetising blogs search engine optimisation and marketing. Some of Andy’s categories are: * blog monetisation Some of Andy’s post have interesting titles such as " I Hate Rhubarb Not Broccoli & Undeniable Proof" or how about this one, "Watering the Plants, Digging Holes & Housekeeping". Andy goes into great detail in some posts, for example in "WordPress SEO Masterclass for Competitive Niches" he does an in-depth review of a customer’s blog site highlighting work that the customer has done to increase SEO potential and suggesting improvements of his own. This post is easy to understand if you know your SEO but not so simple if you’re new to the business. I found another post titled "Comprehensive Guide to Creating a Niche Website", which sent me off into worm farming territory,a project by the well-known marketer, Duncan Carver. The post itself was short and informative, I found myself being distracted for quite some time on Duncan’s site. Andy’s writing style is clear and uncluttered making his posts easy to read. However, some of his more technical posts need to be read a couple of times to ensure you’ve understood. One of Andy’s posts about building niche websites left me feeling a little frustrated, because he started talking about tools and niche site building, then the post abruptly ends. Another thing that I wasn’t too keen on, is that none of Andy’s posts are dated, so you don’t know when the post was written and if the content is still relevant. This is a great blog if you’re an experienced or advanced marketer looking for some technical information to improve technical aspects of your site or blog, particularly SEO. Andy is clearly a very knowledgeable and experienced marketer, as well as someone with a lot of technical expertise. That’s why I recommend this blog for anyone who’s at the upper end of the intermediate scale or an advanced marketer. I think newbies would find themselves a little lost with the technical posts. Thanks for the review… dates on posts will probably be returning in some manner, and once I migrate back from Disqus I will be dofollow agin.
Readers will probably find external links from your post to the content you highlighted on my blog useful, and from an SEO perspective that can be compensated for by increasing the amount of internal linking you have on each page.
